Rob Fontana
As a native of New York with roots in jazz music and culture, Rob Fontana has been composing and performing at the piano from a young age. He holds a Bachelors in Music Theory and Composition from Goucher College in Baltimore, Maryland, debuting as a solo pianist for private events in Washington, DC. Since living in the Pioneer Valley, he has been a solo pianist for Click Workspace and Alina’s Ristorante, while as a keyboardist for various live ensembles such as Mavrodaphne, Shantyman, Ginja Low Main, and Jake Buddy Band. He is also currently working on several new co-production projects with Baltimore’s own up-and-coming singer/songwriter, Ebony Imani, and the internationally toured DJ/producer, Discuji.
Jared Cruz
Jared Cruz is a guitarist, bassist, and educator that performs regularly around New England and currently teaches at the Academy at Charlemont. He holds an Associates Degree in Music from Holyoke Community College and a Bachelor of Arts in Jazz Performance from University of Massachusetts Amherst where he participated in downbeat award winning bands; Jazz Ensemble 1 and Vocal Jazz Ensemble. You can find him playing with his band The Cruztet, Cambridge based band Lenny’s Funk Club, The Amco Quartet, and in other music settings performing regularly. He is currently playing weekly at India House in Northampton every Thursday from 6-8:45.
