Arts Night Out, March 2019

CLICK Workspace presents, Suzuki cellists of the Northampton Community Music Center.

Come by CLICK this Arts Night Out and enjoy the sounds of Northampton’s own rising stars, amidst the paintings of the Tess Rock art exhibition. The Suzuki cellists of the Northampton Community Music Center range in age from 5 to 17.  While some have been playing for only a few years, others have been playing for more than 10 years.  Students take individual cello lessons weekly and then work on their common repertoire in group classes twice a month, four cello teachers are involved in teaching the students.  All the performers are eager to show off their skills at Arts Night Out Northampton!

On display, CLICK continues the Tess Rock art exhibition!

Past & Present | A Mini Retrospective 2003-2018, is a compilation of paintings by Rock reflecting on her past 15 years.

“Their  origination is found in nature, discovering the abstract while exploring representational forms. My methods include cropping, magnification, and a loose interpretation of the organic.

My desire is to create a journey that allows the viewer the freedom to enter each piece, exploring both color and line through their own experiences. The vibrancy and fluid forms of my surroundings never cease to inspire me”. - Tess Rock

Arts Night Out festivities are FREE to all, complimentary bar (for those 21+) and snacks!
